Japji Travel is a travel agency providing car rentals and tour packages, dedicated to producing high-quality video content that engages, inspires, and informs our audience. We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team and help bring our vision to life.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting. The ideal candidate will be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story. You will work closely with the production team to ensure the final product meets the desired outcome and is delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:

Edit video footage to create compelling and engaging content for various platforms (e.g., social media, websites, television, etc.).

Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video.

Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the video.

Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the final video.

Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.

Create Attractive Reels For Social media

Manage and organize video files and assets.

Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications:

Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.

Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).

Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.

Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.

Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.

Creative mind and storytelling skills.

Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Degree in Film Studies, Media Production, or a related field is a plus.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with color grading and audio editing.

Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.

Understanding of different video formats and codecs.

Experience working with green screens and chroma keying.

Familiarity with social media platforms and their video requirements.
