The Varanasi to Dibrugarh cruise is ready to set go to his Initial Place.
In order to spur the interior waterway development in the country, the central government has proposed launching the world's longest luxury river cruise.

Cruise Capacity & Facility

The cruise ship has three decks, 18 suites on board, a capacity of 36 visitors, and all luxurious amenities. According to the Antara cruise, the Ganga Villa’s cruise has additional exclusions like LED tv, a smoke detector, Life vest, sprinklers, French balconies, a Convertible bed, 40 seater restaurant, a spa, and sundecks.

According to Development Authority

The minister of port, shipping and waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, said in an interview, that Ganga villa’s cruise will Departure from Varanasi to Dibrugarh for 50 days, covering the most famous tourist sites along with the 27 most popular rivers’.According to the Minister, this will be the world's largest river excursion by river ship, putting India and Bangladesh on the worldwide cruise map. National Waterway follows the Ganga-Bhagirathi-Hooghly river system, The Indo-Bangla Protocol Route follows various rivers in Bangladesh from Kolkata to Dhubri, and National Waterway 2 follows the Brahmaputra.

The Varanasi Development Authority created it through a public-private partnership. In which the tourist will arrive in the tent city by boats by various Ghats of India.

Cruise Ticket Pricing

According to Alaknanda, the price per person of this cruise would be 25000/- to 50000/- rs per night. The entire trip is going to cost around 20 lakhs for each passenger, for 50 days, which includes all the luxurious amenities. 

 

Cruise Tour Itinerary

  • The Ganga Vilas Ship will travel 3,200 kilometres, making it the world's longest cruise excursion.
  • It will depart from Varanasi and travel through Ghazipur, Buxar, and Patna before arriving in Kolkata.
  • The cruise would spend a fortnight on Bangladeshi rivers before returning to India via Guwahati and Dibrugarh, according to the government.
  • The trek from Varanasi to Dibrugarh will take 50 days, including a 14-day stopover in Bangladesh.
  • This trip will stop at over 50 locations along the way, including World Heritage Sites.
  • It will also travel through national parks and wildlife refuges. Two examples are the Sundarban Delta and Kaziranga National Park.
  • The voyage would travel along two of India's most important rivers, the Ganga and the Brahmaputra.
