Temple of Khajuraho

During the ruler of the Chandela Rajput dynasty were built the Khajuraho Group of monuments. All the building activity started after rise of their power. The Bundelkhand known as their Kingdom, most temples were built during the reigns of the hindu kind Yashovaraman and Dhanga. Currently most famous,largest and surviving temple is Kandaria Mahadevi, which was built by King Ganga from 1017 - 1029 CE.  there were many temples surviving which was completed between 970 - 1030.
