  1. Haflong - Dima Hasao, Assam

The only hill station of Assam, Haflong has been called the Scotland of Assam. The whole district has been dubbed Switzerland of the northeast so you can imagine the beauty it holds. The distance from New Delhi is more than 2250 km and you can take the direct train to New Haflong. This destination is best for a relaxing vacation. It's almost a two-day journey through scenic routes. Some of the local attractions include  Haflong Lake, Bendao Baiglai Waterfalls, and Abraham viewpoint.

 

  1. Jalori Pass - Kullu, Himachal Pradesh

This is a destination for the ones purely for adventure lovers. Located 10,282ft above sea-level Jalori pass is the nearest pass to New Delhi. It is about 512km from New Delhi. You can camp at the Jalori Pass camping area and the Jibhi waterfalls are worth visiting. While the trek is a treat for trekking lovers, make sure you're well-equipped for this rugged terrain. If you plan on driving your way to the Jalori pass, prepare yourself for a bumpy, yet thrilling ride. This hill station is the administrative headquarters of Tawang District, in Arunachal Pradesh. Residing at an elevation of 10,000 ft above sea level, Tawang is the home to the largest monastery In the country and the second largest in the world. It is a Buddhist Mecca of sorts, with so many monasteries dating back centuries. The distance from New Delhi is about 2300 km. Some popular local attractions comprise Tawang Monastery, Panga Teng Tso Lake, and Urgelling Monastery.

This lush hill and cantonment town is nestled amid the Himalayas. It is situated at an elevation of 6132 ft in the district of Almora in the state of Uttrakhand. Even though this is a relatively popular destination, this vacation spot is a must for this list of outstanding places to have the perfect vacation. About 400 km from New Delhi, Ranikhet is easy to reach. Some local attractions include Jhula Devi Temple, Bhalu Dam, and Rani Jheel.
