Every evening, the priests offer pooja to the river Ganges. They stand in the ghats and recite mantras holding big flames of fire. You can see a huge gathering of people during this time to flick the lamps across the river to fulfill their wishes. During the eclipse, the timing of arti at Hari Ki Pauri might change because arti happens during an auspicious time of the day.

There are many ways to reach this place.
- By Air: You can reach Har ki Pauri through Jolly Grant Airport, 37 kilometers from Haridwar. You can fly to Indira Gandhi airport and travel to this ghat. Haridwar is 2 hours away from Dehradun.
