- Location: Ranthambore National Park was once a hunting ground for local kings. Today, it is known for its large wild tigers. The park is located where the Aravali and Vindhya mountain ranges meet. It is only 14 kilometers away from Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, in the eastern corner.
- History and Geography: The area is made up of hilly and uneven land. The terrain shifts from gentle, gradual slopes to steep, cone-shaped hills. This variety in shape and height gives the landscape a distinct look. The land’s natural form has shaped the history and geography of the region.
- Flora & Water Bodies: The land is a mix of sandy plains with grass, green valleys, and lush foliage near water sources. Three main lakes, Padam Talab, Malik Talab, and Raj Bagh, dot the forest. These turquoise lakes are full of water plants like lilies and lotuses, adding to the natural beauty.
- Wildlife: Ranthambore is home to many wild animals, but it also faces problems. People living around the park sometimes graze livestock or hunt illegally. Between 1976 and 1979, about 12 villages inside the park were moved outside its borders. Now, only a few people live in scattered villages inside the park. Poaching also remains a threat.
- Tourism: There is a growing demand for tiger parts from China. While exact numbers are hard to find, reports often mention the discovery of animal skins and body parts being smuggled out.

Pickup from Delhi either from your home or hotel early in the morning.
Then, head to H. Nizamuddin Railway Station to catch a morning train to Sawai Madhopur. After about five hours of travel, you will arrive at Sawai Madhopur Railway Station around 12:55 PM.
Upon arrival, assistance will be provided and you will be transferred to a hotel near Ranthambore National Park. Later in the afternoon, visit Ranthambore National Park. You will join a shared Jeep or Canter ride with other wildlife enthusiasts. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 02: Ranthambore National Park
You can visit National Park by sharing a Jeep/Canter in the morning/afternoon. overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 03: Ranthambore National Park- Delhi
After breakfast, I transferred to the Sawai Madhopur Railway station to board a Train to Delhi. Arrival at Delhi and transfer to the Hotel/Home.
