The 41st India International Trade Fair (IITF) opens today at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will begin the expo, which will run till November 27th. The trade fair's theme this year is Vocal for Local, Local to Global. The 14-day epic event takes on added significance because it overlaps with the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' festivities.
The event, which is organized by the India Trade Promotion Organization, is one of the world's largest trade fairs in terms of exhibitor and visitor participation. Since its start in 1980, it has developed into a prominent worldwide event that attracts corporate communities from all over the world, as well as an equally passionate turnout of consumers and tourists.
The IITF framework weaves together Business, Social, Cultural, and Educational Dimensions where exhibitors and visitors, media, marketing experts, social activists, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) join together to explore their aims. A variety of government organizations utilize this platform to raise public awareness about their programs and policies. As a result, practically all of the Federal Government of India's States and Union Territories participate in this event.
The initial India international trade fair was held in the year 1980. The Trade Fair (IITF) serves as a gathering place for all types of manufacturers, merchants, exporters, and importers. The trade show covers an area of 72000 square meters. The trade expo is organized by India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), the trade promotion division of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Government of India.
From India at the IITF, each state's administration beautifully represents its region's history and importance. For example, if you go to a specific counter like Manipur, you will discover everything from that region, including delectable Manipuri food, fashionable apparel, and accessories. Each year, a theme is allocated to the event.
The trade exhibition is separated into two sections: Business Days and General Days. Business days tickets will be available from November 14 to 18, while general public days tickets will be available from November 19 to 27.
The fair will operate from 10 a.m. until 7.30 p.m. India International Trade Fair tickets for both Business Days and General Days are available at 67 Metro Station Customer Care Centres.
On general public days, weekends, and holidays, IITF tickets will cost 150 rupees for adults and 60 rupees for children, while weekdays will cost 80 rupees for adults and 40 rupees for children.
Ticket prices will be increased on business days. The fair will be free for Divyang and Senior citizens.
You can also book the tickets online.
Every industry, including jewellery, automobiles, furniture, and home products, exhibits its innovations and provides the audience with fresh ideas at the international trade show. Furthermore, one has the opportunity to see innovative advantages from both well-established corporations and different start-ups. There are the most recent jewellery designs, leather goods, apparel, and eco-friendly products accessible.
You may sample a variety of exquisite cuisines and browse goods and services booths while at the India International Trade Fair. One would want to try the delectable cuisine, which ranges from Indian to Chinese to Italian.
The IITF is well-equipped with cutting-edge facilities that cater to everyone's demands. The location is wheelchair accessible for those with disabilities. If you are seeking for specialized information on anything or a certain state's booth, the Information Booth has a perfect setup where you can receive all the information you need.
