Rana Kumbha Palace is situated in Chittorgarh. This palace is one of the biggest monuments in Rajasthan, a 15th century old mammoth monument enclosed within the interiors of Chittorgarh fort. It is in this palace the Rajput King Maharana Kumbha lived his royal life. The Rana Kumbha Palace is a fine specimen of Rajput's architecture. 
The palace is believed to have underground cellars and folk stories woven around it says that it is in these cellars Rani Padmini and other women folks in the royal palace performed Jauhar. A grand old temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and stables of horses and elephants are placed nearby.
Some other tourist attractions near the Rana Kumbha Palace are Archaeological Museum, Fateh Prakash Palace Museum, Chhatris of Jaimal and Kalla, Kirti Stambh, Vijay Stambh, Chittorgarh Fort, Padminis Palace, Rana Kumbha Palace, Chittorgarh Fort Gardens and Padminis Gardens.
If you are a keen shopper, do not miss the markets like Fort Road Market, Rana Sanga Market and the Sadar Bazaar. Pilgrims visiting the place can pay a visit to the religious sites like Kalika Mata Temple, Kumbha Shyam Temple and Meera Temple.
