Taj Mahal

Agra is home to the Taj Mahal, one of the most beautiful monuments in the world. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal in 1631 as a tribute to his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died while giving birth to their 14th child.
