How to reach dodital?

To reach Dodital, one needs to first arrive at the nearest major town of Uttarkashi, which is well connected by road and rail networks with major cities like Dehradun (165 km) and Rishikesh (140 km). From Uttarkashi, Dodital is a further 16 km trek passing through dense forests and picturesque villages like Rini, Bebra. The trek takes about 4-5 hours from Uttarkashi. Uttarakhand state transport and private buses frequently ply between major towns and Uttarkashi on a daily basis. You can also drive right up to Sangamchatti village by your own vehicle and then trek 3 km to Dodital from there. The route offers mesmerising views of the Himalayas.

The best time to visit Dodital Trek is during late spring (May to June) and autumn (September to November) for pleasant weather, lush landscapes, and fewer crowds.
