Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

On Day 1, Japji Travel Assistance will pick you up at your airport or the railway station and will take you to the hotel. After relaxation, you will be taken to the following travel destinations in Delhi:

  • India Gate – Built more than 100 years ago, India Gate remembers soldiers who died fighting for the British Empire in the First World War.
  • Qutab Minar – This 12th-century tall tower is famous all over the world, and is a UNESCO monument.
  • Jama Masjid – Visit Jama Masjid in Old Delhi and be enchanted at its beautiful architecture.

After visiting these places, we return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi- Jaipur 

Next day, we drive down to Jaipur,.and after reaching Pink City, we will go to your hotel and check in.

In the afternoon, we all go to City Palace in Pink City and check out the clothes and weapons of the kings of Jaipur.

From City Palace, we return to our hotel for an overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 03: Jaipur to Jodhpur

Jodhpur is 336 kms away and the drive time is over 5 hours from Jaipur. We will immediately proceed to the hotel in Jodhpur for rest and food and an overnight stay.

Day 04: Jodhpur Sightseeing

The next day after breakfast, we will proceed to the following places in Jodhpur:

  • Umaid Palace – The beauty of this 20th-century palace will blow you over. It was constructed to provide relief to the locals who were suffering from drought.
  • Balsamand Lake – This lake is 5 km from Jodhpur and was built in the 12th-century. Balsamand Lake provided water to Mandore, the ancient capital of Pratiaharas.
  • Mehrangarh Fort – No visit to Jodhpur is complete without exploring to Mehrangarh Fort where the Rathore rulers of Jodhpur lived.
  • Ghanta Ghar – Built by Maharaja Sardar Singh, Ghanta Ghar or Clock Tower is an amazing piece of workmanship. People of Jodhpur used to consult Ghabta Ghar to know the time of the day or the night.

In the evening we are free, so we will go and explore the local markets of Jodhpur.

Day 05: Jodhpur – Mount Abu

Mount Abu is the only hill station in Rajasthan and you will be delighted upon reaching this place.

The trip from Jodhpur to Mount Abu will take 4 hours 23 minutes (260 kilometers). When we reach Mount Abu, we all retire to the hotel for much needed rest.

Day 06: Mount Abu Sightseeing

After having breakfast, we shall all visit the following destinations in Mount Abu:

  • Nakki Lake – According to the locals, this lake was dug up by the devatas using their nails, hence this name.

  • Guru Shikhar – This is the tallest point in Mount Abu and you can also a peaceful ashram here.

  • Delwara Temple – One of the most beautiful temples in India, Delwara Temple is made of marble and is dedicated to Jain tirthankars.

  • Sun Set Point & Peace Park – Watch the sun go down from Sun Set Point and experience calmness all around. At Peace Park, you will be mesmerized by the huge collection of flora and fauna.

Retire to your hotel, have food and then sleep tight because tomorrow we are going to Udaipur.

Day 07: Mount Abu – Udaipur

The drive from Mount Abu to Udaipur takes us through dense forests and hills. Upon reaching Udaipur, we will check into our hotel.

In the evening, we shall visit City Palace which has been home to the Maharanas of Udaipur for more than 450 years. Once we are free from this visit, we will explore the local bazaars of Udaipur and then return to the hotel.

Day 08: Udaipur Sightseeing

The following places will be on our itinerary in Udaipur.It will be full day sightseeing tour of the city.

  • Fateh Sagar & Pichola Lake – Though Udaipur has seven lakes, we shall visit only two of them and both have beautiful embankments and stairs.
  • Gulab Bagh & Zoo – This enchanting garden is near to City Palace and houses a zoo. Gulab Bagh is more than 130 years old.
  • Lake Palace & Jag Mandir – Both are hotels currently  and initially served as the palaces of the kings of Udaipur. 
  • Jagdish Mandir – Just outside City Palace is Jagdish Mandir which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

After wrapping up our Udaipur sightseeing tour, we will return to our hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 09: Udaipur - Chittorgarh

It will take roughly 3 hours to reach Chittorgarh from Udaipur. Upon getting to Chittor, we will check in to our hotel. After having rest and meals, we will go to the following places in Chittorgarh:

  • Meerabai Temple – This is where poetess Meerabai sang and prayed to Lord Krishna.
  • Vijay Stambh – Built more than 500 years ago, this tower commemorates the victory of Rana Kumbha over Malwa.
  • Rana Kumba Palace – Our highpoint of the Chittorgarh visit will be touring the ruined Rana Kumba Palace which was home to the Maharanas of Mewar until Rana Udai Singh shifted his capital from Chittor to Udaipur.

Retire to our hotel for food and rest.

Day 10: Chittorgarh - Sawai Madhopur  

Sawai Madhopur has the world-famous Ranthambhore National Park. After arrival, we check into our hotel and in the evening, we can explore the local markets.

Day 11: Sawai Madhopur- Ranthambhore Sightseeing

Next day, after breakfast, we can do the following things in Sawai Madhopur:

  • Seeing Rajbagh ruins
  • Visiting the famous Surwal Lake
  • Watching tigers and other wild animals in the Ranthambhore National Park

Once when we are free, then we will return to our hotel in Sawai Madhopur for dinner and sleep.

Day 12: Sawai Madhopur - Agra

After sufficient rest and breakfast, we will drive to Agra and aon the way will visit Fatehpur Sikri.

Later, we will check into our hotel. Please note that the travel time from Sawai Madhopur to Agra takes more than four hours.

At Agra, we can fan out in the city and check out the various bazaars.

Day 13: Agra - Delhi

On our last day in this tour, we will go to the following places in Agra:

After finishing these destinations in Agra, we will finally return to Delhi where Japji Travels will drop you at your respective railway station or airport.
