The Weather.Com meteorologist mentioned that the bulk of the rain and snow can travel in the central and western states of the USA from Christmas Eve to Sunday.

Heavy rain is forecasted throughout Southern California this Thursday, which is most probably going to affect travel in and around Los Angeles and San Diego, as mentioned by the National Weather Service. Most likely snowfalls will cause travel troubles in the Northern Rockies and Northern Plains by the weekend. As per AccuWeather, a band of heavy snow may cross several important intercourse routes in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, and the Dakotas.
