It has always been my dream to go on Himalayan treks ever since I was in college. However, it could not be materialized owing to my busy friend circle. It was a way beyond my abilities and a daunting task for me to plan a solo trip to the Himalayan hike or to Kedarkantha Trek Uttarakhand. Finally, I got a chance to visit with my flatmate out of my boring corporate life.
The planning was quite easy further with Japji Travelers, Kedarkantha Trek Uttarakhand was one of the most heard and happening Treks during winter for beginners. Getting exposed to the amazing and beautiful photos and having read about the treks, finally booked for early March.
Kedarkantha Trek Uttarakhand is one of the famous and most visited winter treks, mountain peaks of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand, India. Kedarkantha Trek Location: -Situated at the Peak elevation of Approximately 12,500 ft. It is remains engulfed with Knee-deep snow in winters, a spellbinding view from the top, and the beautiful and easy tracks make it prevalent among voyagers. It would be apt to title or call it the Queen of Winter Treks. Kedarkantha Trek Location is Situated in the Heart of Govind Wildlife Sanctuary in Uttarkashi district, the ‘calm on endurance’ stream goes through the thick pine forests. Sankari is a small village, the Trekkers usually start their Journey from Sankri to the peak of Kedarkantha, the journey is completed in four-Five days.
The Kedarkantha Trek Location is chosen by Nature. Kedarkantha treks offer the inimitable view of the cosmic and interplanetary sky, lush grazing land, snow paths, appealing villages, sweet-smelling pine forest, sky-knocking mountaintops, serene rivers, and some fairy-tale story whispers. Kedarkantha is heaven for the photographers, a trek blushing with beauty, and it provides the perfect opportunity to capture the snowfall on the Pine Trees, majestic looks of magic dust. Kedarkantha Trek Route has got plenty of lovely campsites to Experience the heavenly experience of camping, one will find every site unique, altogether different from other campsites during the journey. Juda ka Talab is also a famous Frozen campsite, it is believed that the site was the meditation site of Lord Shiva.
Kedarkantha Trek Route offers the amazing experience of walking in the middle of the night, with the head torches paving the way with lighting, an opportunity to watch the sunrise from the top of a mountain before the final arrival of to reach the Summit.
Since it is during winter trekking, one should be prepared to have a lot of stuff as the weather remains quite unpredictable in the mountains. One can find a one-stop solution for everything one may be required for the winter Trekking. In case you are an amateur, the same can be taken on rent for the economy as well. As they say, if someone goes once, they keep visiting every year. The Journey Starts from Mussoorie to Sankri had some astonishing views. One can enjoy a delicious breakfast of Aloo Parathas near Kempty falls. During the introduction session, one can interact with fellow trekkers. The groups usually reassemble around Purola for Lunch. There will not be any Mobile network available after Purola, and the digital detoxication and disconnection take place from the rest of the world. As soon as one crosses Purola, the glimpses of the snow-clad peaks start for the mesmerizing experience.
