First of all, we have, Kullu Dusherra is certainly the most celebrated festival in Himachal Pradesh. It is a week-long celebration. It begins on the 10th day of Ashwin’s day as per the Hindi calendar. well, it holds great importance in history. It is 3 days celebration.

Another great festival is the Phulaich festival. On this occasion villagers in Kinnaur Valley take out the procession. They all go to collect Ladra flowers. Moreover, it is celebrated on the 16th day of the Hindu month of Bhardapada. In particular, there is also another reason to celebrate too. This day commemorates an act of remembrance for deceased ones.

Next, we have the Sair festival which is celebrated in Shimla, Kullu, Manali, and Mandi. It is celebrated in mid-September. In short, it is celebrated to mark the end of the harvest season. But, the major attraction is bull flight. Lastly, we have the Pori festival celebrated in Lahual Valley. It is celebrated at Tariloknath temple. That is every 3rd week of August.
