Golden Triangle 6 Days Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi Local Sightseeing
Your Tempo Traveller picks you up from your Delhi hotel or the airport in the morning. The driver takes you to Red Fort first, since the parking area fills up by mid morning on weekdays.
From there you visit Qutub Minar, then drive past India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan. The day ends with a visit to Humayun's Tomb before you return to your hotel.
Day 2: Delhi to Agra
The vehicle leaves Delhi early in the morning to avoid slow traffic near Mathura Road. The drive to Agra takes about 4 hours on the Yamuna Expressway. You check into your Agra hotel, rest for an hour, and head to the Taj Mahal in the afternoon when the light works best for photos at the east gate.
The evening is free, or you can visit Agra Fort if time allows.
Day 3: Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri
You leave Agra after breakfast and stop at Fatehpur Sikri, about 40 minutes from the city. The driver waits at the lower parking area while you walk up to Buland Darwaza and the main courtyard.
From there the drive to Jaipur takes close to 5 hours, so the vehicle stops once midway for lunch. You reach Jaipur by evening and check into your hotel.
Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing
The day starts early with Amber Fort, since the elephant and jeep lines get long after 10 am. After the fort, you see Jal Mahal from outside and move on to City Palace and Jantar Mantar in the same area.
In the afternoon, the vehicle takes you to Hawa Mahal for photos and then to the local bazaar for shopping. Your driver stays close by throughout the day, since parking near these sites is limited to specific locations.
Day 5: Jaipur to Delhi via Abhaneri
You check out after breakfast and start the drive back to Delhi. On the way, the vehicle stops at Abhaneri to see the Chand Baori stepwell, a short detour that adds about 45 minutes to the trip.
The rest of the drive passes through Behror and Neemrana before reaching Delhi by evening. You check into your Delhi hotel or continue to your next destination.
Day 6: Departure from Delhi
This is the last day of the tour. Depending on your flight or train time, the vehicle picks you up from your hotel and drops you at the airport or railway station.
If your departure is later in the day, you can use the morning for any shopping you missed earlier.
