Surinsar Lake is situated at a distance 9 kms from Mansar Lake and about 24 kms from the main city of the Jammu. every tourist enjoy a short walk or trek from Mansar Lake, along the connecting road link, to arrive at the Surinsar Lake.
Surinsar Lake is a smaller lake of the Mansar Lake but it sure has its share of scenic view settings blessed with a picturesque backdrop of the verdant Hills and features a small island, perched right at the heart of the Lake.
Surinsar Lake is also nearby a regular bus service from Jammu town. The arrow emerged at Surinsar and thus both lakes were created with fantastic View. The lake is about 4-km in perimeter and surrounded by thick mangrove stands, backed by pine trees on the slopes of the hills and waterfalls. Like Surinsar the lake is also covered with lotus flowers in summer and green grass.
