Zoo opening days, entry timings, and admission fees

The zoo is open for all days 8 am to 5 pm but they do have seasonal days and hours too. May 27- Sept 4 the opening hours are 8 am to 5 pm, and May 1 to May 26 it is the same. and September 5 to November 1 it is 8 am to 5 pm. But on weekends that is Saturday and Sunday including holidays Lincoln Park is open from 8 am to 7 pm.

The entrance to the zoo is completely free, there are no admission fees. The zoo’s visitors and members cover 80% of its running expenses. The remaining amount is covered by a Chicago Park District subsidy. You can also experience the season’s based wildlife activity. such as seal training and feeding, African aps cognition and care. also, you can board the historic Lincoln train adventure.
