Book a cab to Rohtang which can cost you around Rs. 3500 to 4000 or visit the same via buses of Himachal Tourism which will cost you around Rs. 600. (Being Private Cabs not allowed).
Take a permit for visiting Rohtang a day or two prior to visiting the place. In times of peak season ensure a pre-booking for Rohtang else getting the pass gets difficult.
Rohtang is a sheer treat to your eyes, leaving them to glitter with sparkling beauty. You will experience that the huge ice walls which you see in the films is for real and do not forget to click yourself there.
Caution: Remember to take sunglasses to avoid irritation in the eyes due to heavy fog and stormy winds.
The oxygen levels at the peak are very low people with breathing problems or asthmatic persons should avoid traveling to Rohtang.
The best time to visit Manali is throughout the year usually. But the most preferred time to visit Manali is during the scorching heat and the summers.
