Day 1: Kalka To Naggar

Naggar is a settlement in the Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. On arrival at Kalka Railway Station, hire a car to drive up to Manali.  Likewise, it takes about 7 hours and 7 minutes to drive up and cover a distance of 263.8km. Drive through NH154 and NH3 and reach the hotel. Stay overnight at Naggar.

Day 2: Naggar to Manali & Manali Local Sightseeing Tour

Situated at a distance of 22 Kms from Manali, Naggar is a big village which is known to the travellers for its heritage. At a height of 5750fts from sea level, the city is situated at the bank of Beas River.

Overnight stay at a hotel in Manali. Only light motor vehicles are allowed to cross the river. To proceed towards Khakhnal, tourists have to visit Naggar from the Manali side.

Day 3: Visit Snow Point

When Rohtang Pass gets inaccessible, tourists generally visit what is called the Snow Point. About 51 km in the driveway, this is one of the places where tourists can enjoy skiing. Day 5: Shimla – Kullu – Manali

About 84.8 km from Shimla, Kullu is also a popular tourist spot. Plying between Shimla to Kullu, there is only one direct bus service. The oldest temple in the valley is Raghunath Temple. Bijli Mahadev Temple, Pandoh Dam, The Great Himalayan National Park are other leisure places to visit. For adventure tourists, there is an option for rafting, fishing, skiing and trekking.

Travel 42 km by road to reach Manali from Kullu.  There are no direct flights or trains or buses between Kullu to Manali. So, the best possible way to reach is by hiring a car. After the daylong sightseeing at Kullu, take a rest at the hotel in Manali.

Day 6: Shimla – Kufri – Shimla

Kufri derives its name from ‘Kufri’ which means lake. It takes about 53 min to drive the way and covers about 17.5 km distance via NH5. It is the venue for the annual winter sports festival and skiing competition is the main interest. 

The Himalayan Nature Park on the outskirts of the town is a major point to see. The Kufri Zoo is another place to visit for the tourists. Kufri is basically the starting point of the trek. Day 7: Return back to Shimla
