Janki Chatti is a small town located on the way to Yamunotri Temple, famous for its many hot water springs, and it is located at a distance of around three kilometers from Yamunotri.A dip in the hot water springs of Janki Chatti is an inevitable part of the Yamunotri pilgrimage and it is quite puzzling that in such a cool surroundings how the spring maintains its hotness pretty well. A bath in the hot water gives revitalizing energy and vigor to the visitors who are very tired of the rugged surroundings. Jankichatti town is very famous among tourists who travel to the region of Yamunotri during Char Dham Yatra and most pilgrims take a night halt. This area encompasses the last village in the region and the pilgrims are provided with moderate accommodation facilities here.
