Mansa Devi Temple,Chandigarh

Mansa Devi temple in Chandigarh is a very much holy shrine located at Panchkula. which is Approx 8 kms away from the city. This is the holy place Siddh Peeth which is dedicated to Mata Mansa Devi. According to the Hindu mythology  Devi Sati had fallen over here. Mansa Devi Temple houses two temples. The temple was established in the year 1815 A.D Constricted by the ruler of Mani Majra. after a new temple was set up by the Maharaja of Patiala in the year 1840 at a distance of 200 meters from the main temple is the Patiala temple which was got constructed by Sh. Karam Singh, the then Maharaja of Patiala.
