It is in Solan district, barely 77 km from Shimla, and is known for its beautiful Gothic-style churches—Christ Church and the Baptist Church.

Kasol

Here, you can visit the Jim Corbett National Park, the magic of the Kumaon Hills, the Naini Devi temple where the reigning deity is Shakti. The nine-cornered lake, Naukuchiatal, is also an important place to see here as is the Kainchi Dam. And to give a good finish to your holiday here, take a comfortable and peaceful boat ride on the Naini Lake.

The Mussoorie Lake travels with you on a drive from Mussoorie to Dehradun and is a breath-taking sight for first-time visitors. Boating on the lake is also a superb experience for all its peace and quiet here.

Dharamshala

Chiefly known as the residence of the Dalai Lama, the snowy town of Dharamsala has a rich Tibetan community. It was once India’s summer capital but is still the perfect getaway for anyone. Situated in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, you can experience Tibetan culture here. The highest peak here is Hanuman Tibba where the landscape is absolutely stunning. 

Another attractive place is the Namgyal Monastery, which houses 200 Tibetan monks, and the magnificent Bhagsunag Waterfalls.
