Starting Your Spiritual Journey from Delhi
Delhi is the gateway to Char Dham Yatra. Most pilgrims start from Delhi because it's well-connected by flights, trains, and roads from all over India.
Journey Outline:
Day 01: Delhi - Haridwar (220 kms / 06-07 hrs)
Pick up from Air airport/railway station/doorstep Railway Station / Door Step Delhi, board and proceed to Haridwar Hotel – Haridwar is the Gateway of Chardham Yatra. Upon arrival check in into the Hotel. Evening attend The Ganga Arti at famous Har Ki Pauri (by your walk). Dinner and Overnight Stay at the Hotel.
Day 02: Haridwar / Dehradun - Barkot (170 kms / 06-07 hrs)
After breakfast leave for Barkot via Mussoorie or Vijay Nagar. En route visit Kempty fall if time allows. Upon arrival check in into the Hotel, rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Barkot. Acclimatize yourself to start a trek to Yamnotri from Janaki Chatti.
Day 03: Barkot - Jankichatti - Yamunotri - Jankichatti - Barkot (45 kms / 02 hrs drive & 05 kms / 03 hrs on foot)
After breakfast proceed to Yamunotri here can cook rice in Garam Pani kund. Tourist take this cooked rice to home as "Prasad". "Pooja" can be offered to Divya Shila, after taking bath in Jamunabai Kund's (HOT WATER) and having "Darshan" of pious "Yamunaji" return to Hotel for Overnight Stay.
Day 04: Barkot - Uttarakashi (80 Kms / 04-05 hrs)
After breakfast leave for Uttarkashi visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Evening free for Leisure. Dinner & Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 05: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100Kms / 03 hrs) Each Side
Early Morning start driving to Gangotri. Offering prayers & pooja darshan, later drive back to Uttarkashi, en route visit Gangnani. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi
Day 06: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi / Sitapur (200 Kms / 07-08 hrs)
After Breakfast drive Sitapur, reached at Guptkashi / Sitapur. Dinner & Overnight Stay at Hotel.
Day 07: Sitapur - Gaurikund - Kedarnath - Sitapur (10 kms / 01 - 02 hrs & 18 kms / 06 - 07 hrs)
Post your early breakfast; leave by vehicle for Gaurikund and from their join other pilgrims for 18 kms trek of Kedarnath. After darshan and Pooja at Kedarnath Temple back to Hotel for Overnight Stay.
Day 08: Guptkashi / Sitapur - Pipalkoti / Badrinath (200 kms / 07- 08 hrs)
After breakfast proceed to Badrinath via Joshimath, Visit Narsimha Temple, Sankaracharaya Math if time allows. Evening Darshan & Pooja at Badrinath Temple. Overnight Stay at Badrinath.
Day 09: Pipalkoti / Badrinath - Srinagar (185 kms/ 06 - 07 hrs)
After breakfast Drive to Srinagar via Vishnuprayag, Karnprayag, Nandprayag, Rudraprayag & Devprayag. Upon reaching Srinagar, check in into Hotel, Overnight at Srinagar.
Day 10: Srinagar - Haridwar(130 kms / 06 - 07 hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive back towards Haridwar enroute visit Rishikesh Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula etc, Overnight Stay at Haridwar.
Day 11: Haridwar - Delhi(220 kms / 06-07 hrs)
Morning after breakfast proceed to Delhi,visit akshardham Temple arrival at Delhi and drop you at preferred point for your onward journey.
