Ticket Bookings and Regulations to Visit the Taj Mahal at Night

You can purchase the tickets for the nighttime view of the Taj Mahal from the Archaeological Survey of India. Make sure to book the tickets a day in advance. You can book the tickets anytime between 10 am to 6 pm. Taj Mahal is open for the night view between 8:30 pm to midnight. Every visitor is allowed to stay for a duration of 30 minutes. Make sure to carry a legit ID as approved by the government for verification. 

It is mandatory for all visitors to show up at the entrance gate 30 minutes before the scheduled time for a brief security check. Only a limited number of visitors are allowed on the full moon nights depending on the availability of slots. People are sent into batches to keep a check on the crowd. Only 50 members are sent in at a time for a duration of 30 minutes. You can carry your camera without tripods or stands. You can capture still pictures but videography is prohibited.
