Agra and Delhi are two of the most popular tourist destinations in India. While Agra is famous for Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, Delhi is known for its modern and medieval bazaars and beautiful buildings.

Be ready for a fun-filled Agra Tour with Delhi Sightseeing programme. This trip's itinerary has four days

The first day of the trip starts with a sightseeing tour of Delhi. 

Day 01: Delhi Pickup & Sightseeing 

On the first day, we will pick you up from Delhi Airport , railway station or your hotel. Be ready because right after breakfast, we will take you to the following places:

  • Red Fort and Jama Masjid - It will take approximately 2 hours exploring this 17th-century building in Old Delhi. Once we are finished with Red Fort Delhi, we will go to Jama Masjid. The distance between the two buildings is hardly 0ne kimometer. 
  • Shopping in Chandni Chowk - Explore this medieval bazaar on foot or rickshaw and buy saris, electronic materials or silver jewelry. 
  • Connaught Place - From Chandni Chowk, we now come to the modern-Connaiught Place which reminds us of Brittish times. Shop around or eat a lovely meal here. 

We now return to our hotel. 

Day 02 : Delhi Sightseeing 

Fun continues on the second day of our Delhi Agra trip. 

  • The day begins with a visit to the world famous Qutab Minar followed by Lotus Temple in South Delhi  Qutab is nearly 900 years old while Lotus Temple is a rcent construction. 
  • India Gate - From Lotus Temple, we drive towards India Gate, which is a memorial to Indian soldiers who died in the First World War. On the way, we will gaze at President's House and drive through Parliament Street. It would be afternoon by this time. 
  • Akshardham Temple - See the beautiful Indian architecture in this Hindu temple. Akshardham also organizes a mesmerising light and sound show on Hindu traditions. 

It is time for calling it a day and returning to your hotel. Have your dinner and take rest. 

Day 03: Delhi to Agra Sightseeing 

Next day, after breakfast, we drive to Agra which is 4 hours away. The itinerary is:

  • Arrive at hotel and take rest. 
  • From the hotel, we now go to Agra Fort

About Agra Fort 

Mughal emperor Akbar lived in Agra Fort. This red sandstone building houses several beautiful palaces. and offers a stunning view ofTaj Mahal. 

After you have finished exploring this 400-year old fort, you can shop in the nearby market and have some food too. 

Day 04: Agra Sighteseing to Delhi

On the last day, we visit the monument of love or Taj Mahal. Walk around, take pictures and make memories. 

From Taj Mahal, we drive northwards to Sikandra, the grave of Akbar. It is a beautiful monument whuich was built by Akbar's son Jahangir. 

It is now time to return to Delhi and on our return journey, we can have lunch at any dhaaba. Our driver from Japji Travels will drop you at your destination in Delhi
