Delhi, the capital city of India gives the ultimate experience of time travel. It is the best place to feel the culture, food, spirituality, history, madness and mystery. The Lotus Temple or the Bahá’í House of Worship is where have to maintain silence but will let you go 'wow' inside your mind. The temple holds daily shows to educate people about Bahá’í faith. For the cultural tourists, NGMA Nation Gallery of Modern Arts is major visit. Built by the founder of the Tughlaq Dynasty in 1321, Tughlaqabad Fort is a historical wonder.  The ‘last flicker in the lamp of Mughal architecture’ built in the Mughal charbagh style is the Tomb of Safdarjung. The National Zoological Park or Delhi Zoo in the Purana Qila is an ideal spot for family travel. Surrounded by tall buildings of Connaught Place, Agrasen Ki baoli is yet another architectural masterpiece which attracts lot of tourists. Hauz Khas Fort is for the millennials! Enjoying a playful music and ambience is what you can expect at Hauz Khas village.  Woven into its rich texture, Delhi is full of snippets of immaculate magnificence. A city has been renewed every time one visits the place.

The glorious India Gate, which is closest to the Central Secretariat yellow line, is a busy place round the year. Qutub Minar is yet another tourist centre which has been declared as the UNESCO Heritage Site. Interestingly, this second tallest minar of the country was the first mosque built in India. Chandni Chowk leads up to Red Fort. The Jama Masjid is also in the vicinity. The Chandni Chowk metro line is the busiest yellow line. The President’s residence is another place which one should pay a visit once to feel the regal essence of the place. Lastly, get down at Indraprastha (blue line) metro station to pay homage to the crematory ground where lies our great leaders Pt Jawaharlal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri etc. at Raj Ghat.

Delhi never upsets the shopaholics so to enjoy a walking tour of Indian culture, trail through the allies of Dilli Haat, Lajpat Nagar, Sarojini Nagar Market. Resembling the nation in itself, it is truly nicknamed as mini-India.

One of the best places to visit in Shimla is undoubtedly the Summer hill. Nothing less than a picturesque citadel, this place is about 5 km from the ridge. Placed amongst lush greenery, the breathtaking top view is the ideal location to enjoy a sunrise and sunset. Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, which is one of the highest centre for research and studies is a classical example of British architectural design. It was primarily the summer retreat of Indian President. Opened from 8:00 am to 06:00 pm, it offers a walk through the modern Indian history. On the list of places to visit in Shimla, Annandale is common name. This mini golf course has incredibly beautiful sceneries which was earlier a race course. Interestingly named as the Scandal Point, this is another marvellous spectre of sunset and sunrise. The Shimla state museum is for the heritage enthusiasts. Open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, it has a fantastic collection of different artefacts. Preserving the rich culture and heritage of the state, this museum is an insightful place to visit. The Chadwick falls and the Naldehra and Shaily Peak offers rich flora and fauna diversity.

Hadimba Temple Manali was constructed in 1553 and is one of the most famous places to visit in Manali.  Reminiscent of the Japanese pagodas, this temple is covered by Cedar forests at its foothills. It is built on a large rock top that juts out through the ground. Opened from 08:00 am to 07:00 pm, there is no entry fee required. About 3km from Manali, there is a magnificent natural wonder called Vashisht hot water springs. These sulphur springs are said to have medicinal properties and has a number of ancient temples in the vicinity. Of the other frequent places to visit in Manali is the Van Vihar National Park. The shady groves of Deodar, pine and birch offers a pleasure and leisurely walk. The Rahalla or Rehala Falls is also a natural tourist spot which is about distance of 16km from the town and falls on the way to the Rohtang Pass. Gadhan Thekchholing Gompa or commonly referred to as the Manali Gompa is a place to seek solitude which was initially built by the Tibetan refugees and has a distinctive pagoda style architecture. For the adventure travellers the Beas River has scope for rafting, biking, skiing and much more.
