A place that promises wonderful memories for you. It will be hard to get your eyes off the mesmerizing Kempty falls. Situated on the Mussoorie-Dehradun Highway, Kempty Falls, which attracts tourists from all over the country, was developed as a picnic spot by the British officer John Mekinan somewhere around 1835. Usually crowded with tourists, Kempty Falls are a perennial waterfall that makes for an interesting picnic spot and it is said that the visit to these alluring waterfall is incomplete without taking a bath under them. Take a dip or splash the cold water on your friends or family, enjoy the way you want. The place will fill you with extra energy, soaking you in fun and frolic. Kempty Falls, at 15 km from Mussoorie, can be reached by bus or taxi which are easily available at Mussoorie bus stand. Accommodation arrangements are made in the huts around Kempty if you plan to spend the day in exploring the beautiful falls. It is adviced that you avoid going here during the Monsoon due to the heavy flow of water.
