Zenana Mahal was more Generally  referred to as the Zenana Deodi and was primarily meant for the Queen and was her palace during the rule of the royal dynasty Rajasthan. Zenana Mahal was a very Famous building and was considered to be a privileged given to the ladies of the palace. The palace is located within the compound of the very attractive Mehrangarh Fort. The palace is located at a distance of 6 Kms from the main city of Jodhpur.There is no entry fee for the place and can be visited this place at anytime. It is believed that the palace was at one point in time protected by eunuchs during the era of the king’s rule. This palace was factually the place where the many wives of the king and their cohorts spent most of their relaxing and making merry. on visiting the building one can still see the foreign and sensuous charm attached with the palace and take note of the smooth sandstone screens and very impressive attractive rock carvings.
