Delhi Agra Ranthambore Rajasthan Travel Plan:

Day 01: Arriving at Delhi

Arrive at Delhi international airport, Japji Travel representative will meet and assist you to the hotel and check in formalities. Rest of the day is free at leisure & overnight stay is at Delhi. 

DAY 02 : Delhi Sightseeing

Morning Breakfast at the hotel. Later full day visit the most important and historical city of India. Delhi is very beautiful and full of architectural structures.

  • Places To Visit: Red Fort, Jama masjid, Chandni Chowk the commercial and historical area of Delhi.
  • You can also visit Raj Ghat, Shanti Van, Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb, India Gate.

You can come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03: Delhi to Agra (204 kms / 04 hrs)

Third day morning after having breakfast, drive towards Agra – the town globally famed for housing “TAJ MAHAL”. For many years Agra had been one of the most important capital of Mughal kingdom and thus it has some glorious monuments housed in it. On arrival at Agra check into your pre booked hotel. In the afternoon enjoy the guided sightseeing tour of Agra by visiting world admired tombstone Taj Mahal. It is a monument visitied by many tourists every year. Later visit the massive Agra fort, and Itmad-ud- Dullah’s Tomb. In the evening you can come back to the hotel for overnight stay in Agra.

Day 04: Drive to Ranthambore (280 kms / 06 hrs) 

Morning after having breakfast drive towards the thrilling tiger reserve of Rajasthan Ranthambore – one of the most famous tiger reserve in India. It is a delight for nature lovers and photographers. So drive towards Ranthambore for an exciting experience. On arrival check into your pre booked jungle resort / Hotel and spend a leisurely evening. Overnight stay is at Ranthambore.

Day 05: Ranthambore morning and afternoon Jungle safari 

Early morning, you can enjoy the Jungle safari. The main attraction of the park is undoubtedly the tigers and you may probability get to see them during the safari. Apart from tigers you can also see animals such as wild deer, fox, wolfs beers, sambar, chital and many species of birds & reptiles. After that you can come back to the hotel. Afternoon is free to relax. By evening once again enjoy the wildlife sightseeing with an evening jungle safari. Overnight stay is at Ranthambhore.

Day 06: Ranthambhore to Jaipur

Morning Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Jaipur. Once you reach Jaipur, you will be transfered to hotel. Later Visit Jal Mahal, Birla Mandir. You can rest for the reast of the day. Overnight at Jaipur Hotel.

DAY 07 : Jaipur

Early morning Breakfast at the hotel. Star enjoying Jaipur- the pink city. Visit Hawa Mahal, City palace, Amber Palace. Enjoy the camel ride and visit the Jaipur bazaar on the camel or elephants back. Enjoy the cultural and folk music and dances of Rajasthan in the evening. Overnight stay at jaipur hotel.

Day 08: Jaipur - Udaipur

After Breakfast at hotel, Drive to Udaipur. You can visit Nagda, one of the ancient palaces of Mewar dating back to the 6th century AD. The Sas Bahu Temples are among the most exquisitely carved temples. On arrival at Udaipur check in at hotel. Rest of the day you can be free. Stay Overnight at Udaipur.

Day 09: Udaipur Sightseeing

After Breakfast at hotel, Ninth day we visit the City Palace, Lake Pichola, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Jagdish temple, Gulab Bagh and Fateh Sagar Lake. Overnight at Udaipur.

Day 10: Udaipur - Jodhpur

After Breakfast at hotel, drive To Jodhpur. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Soon after we climb up the Majestic Mehrangarh Fort and explore its every nook & corner. We also visit the Jaswant Thada, Ummaid Bhawan, Clock Tower and Markets. Overnight at Jodhpur.

Day 11: Jodhpur Departure

After Breakfast at hotel checkout from hotel, Today we take a village safari to Bishnoi's village - Bishnois are very well known conservationist in the world, Take a Lunch at jodhpur. Afternoon you will be transferred to Airport (The Tour Ends.)

Things to do in Delhi:

  1. Visit India Gate: India Gate is a war memorial in Delhi commemorating the soldiers martyred in the First World War, the third Anglo-Afghan war. Are you still stuck in Imperial buildings? Let us walk through Chandini Chowk doing a little shopping. The taste buds' ticklers would captivate your attention as you pass through various stalls here. Let the food in Paranthe wali Gali, Kunzum Travel Cafe offer a royal treat you will never forget.
  2. Red Fort: The Mughal emperor Shahjahan constructed Lal Quila. The architect Ustad gave the red and white design to Red Fort. It is a perfect blend of Persian and Indian traditions. 
  3. Juma Masjid: If you want to immerse in spirituality, visit temples and mosques nearby. Red sandstone and white marble give an aesthetic look to this building.

Things to do in Agra:

  1. Taj Mahal: The Taj Mahal is a jewel of Muslim art and a symbol of true love. The Mughal emperor Shahjahan built this monument to commemorate his beloved wife- Mumtaz Mahalon the banks of Yamuna river in Agra.
  2. Red Fort: The Mughal emperor Shahjahan constructed the Red Fort when he planned to change his capital to Agra from Delhi. Every year, the prime minister hoists the tri-colour flag in Red Fort.
  3. Mehtab Bagh: The Mughal emperor Babur constructed this Bagh, one of the eleven parks he constructed. Mehtab bagh means moonlit garden and lies very near to Tajmahal. 
  4. Kinari Bazar: The place at the back of Juma masjid is crowded as this lane has many bazaars selling different wares.
  5. Fatehpur Sikri Fort: It is a symbol of the pure love Akbar had for his wife Jodhabai. The paintings in this fort show the obsession of the Mughals in artwork during the Mughal period. Fatehpur Sikri is a city founded by Akbar. It was neatly planned by him to showcase the administrative prowess, and town planning and houses the biggest mosque in Agra.

Things to do in Rajasthan:

  1. Jaipur: The pink city is a favourite destination for tourists as it speaks volumes about the royal culture of Rajputs, Rajasthan of the bygone era. 
  2. Udaipur: You can visit many mirror-like clear lakes palatial buildings, and colourful handicrafts made by artisans.
  3. Ajmer: Ajmer is another colourful city frequented by tourists. Kwaja Muin Uddin Chisti shrine is the most visited place in Ajmer. Ajmer is famous for Jain temples and this city has plenty of them.
  4. Ranthambore: Ranthambore National Park houses rare tigers facing extinction. The Indian government declared certain species of animals and plants as endangered species. It felt that certain animals and plants are on the verge of extinction and should take appropriate action to protect against extinction. Furthermore, the government has prohibited hunting and trading in the wild in this park.
