Day 01; Exploring Delhi

On the first day of this trip, our representatives will pick you up from your airport, etc. and take you to your hotel. After having meals, we areall ready for Dilli Darshan.

Qutab Minar

The world-famous Qutab Minar is the first destination of the Delhi part of the trip. One of the tallest stone towers in the world, Qutab Minar is a UNESCO monument and attracts more than a million tourists annually.

From Qutab Minar, we are now ready to depart to Old Delhi and check out its secrets.

Old Delhi

Any visit to Delhi is incomplete without walking through the narrow lanes of Old Delhi. When you are done exploring Shahjahanabad or Old Delhi, it is time to buy tickets of Red Fort Delhi.

The Delhi Red Fort is a huge building and it delights its guests with several beautiful palaces and even a huge bathroom! Only the Mughal emperor and his family could bathe themselves in this luxurious ‘hammam’.

Rajghat and Lotus Temple

Now that we are done with the Delhi Red Fort, let’s hop into our vehicles and speed away to Rajghat. It was here that Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in January 1948 after his assassination.

After spending a few silent moments in Rajghat, let’s now drive down to a very beautiful place-the Lotus Temple. Built entirely of marble, this calm place looks like a lotus and gives immense solace to its visitors.

Friends, the first day of the traditional golden triangle tour is over here, let’s return to our hotels.

Day 02- Off to Agra

The second day our tour begins with a road trip to Agra, home to Taj Mahal and other monuments. After arriving at Agra, we take some rest and then proceed to the Taj.

Lovers of art can admire the beautiful calligraphy here while history freaks can explore the monument. Take loads of photos and create beautiful memories at the Taj Mahal.

Done with making reels? Now, let’s head over to Agra’s Red Fort which was home to numerous Mughal emperors. It was here in the Agra Fort that Akbar and Shahjahan lived their fabulous lives. Roam around in this huge building and relive history and once done, we will return to our hotel.

Day 03- Hello Jaipur

The next morning, after having breakfast, we pile into our vehicles and the drive away to Jaipur .On the way, we will make a short visit to Fatehpur Sikri, one time capital of Akbar. Like the Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri is a large palace and boasts of several beautiful buildings and ponds.

From Sikri, we continue our onward trip to the Pink City.

City Palace

Since we are a bit tired now, we will have some rest and later, we will visit the City Palace in Old Jaipur. If you want to see how our kings and queens lived in the good old days, City Palace is the place to be in. From City Palace, it is time to retire to our hotel.

Day 04 – Amber and much more

Jaipur is a new city and was built nearly 300 years ago. There was an earlier capital of the Kachchwaha kingdom and its name was Amber. The ancient town of Amber still exists and is located 14 km north of Jaipur. This will be our first destination in Jaipur.

Amber is a delightful place. This palace’s huge halls, long corridors and tall buildings will impress you. What’s more, you get a lovely view of the surroundings when you stand on the walls of the Amber palace.

Hawa Mahal

No visit to the Pink City is complete without admiring the ‘Palaceof the Winds’. Shaped like a crown, Hawa Mahal still stands tall despite being built nearly 200 years ago!

Feeling tired? No problem, let’s go back to our hotel for the night stay in Jaipur.

Day 05 of traditional golden triangle tour

Today is the last day of the 5-day of the traditional golden triangle tour and it is time we returned to Delhi. But wait; while on the way back, we will drop in at Jal Mahal which is located inside a lake, and admire its beauty. Jal Mahal is one of the prettiest buildings we would see in this 5-day road trip.
